Commtech Asia is delighted to be appointed by Century Land Investments (a joint venture of Nan Fung Development and Link) to deliver testing and commissioning management, as well as environmental commissioning services, for ongoing commercial development project, The Quayside, at 77 Hoi Bun Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
The mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) scheme provides a high-quality work environment with efficient comfort-cooling and lighting control. The project also features environmental commissioning services of the sustainable engineering systems including a sky garden, rainwater recycling system and solar-powered hot water system.
The Quayside is set to achieve LEED Platinum precertification, a BEAM Plus Provisional Platinum rating and WELL Precertification at the Gold level, and has received the Merit Award in the ‘New Buildings: Projects Under Construction and/or Design – Commercial Building’ category at the Green Building Awards 2016. We are pleased to be involved in completing this new landmark in Kowloon East.
Due for completion in the third quarter of 2019, the modern facility, which has a gross floor area of approximately 900,000 sq ft, will be located next to one of the EFLS Monorail stations in the future, offering a Grade A landmark development, with good transportation links, at the heart of the emerging Kowloon East CBD.
