Commtech Asia team in Hong Kong participated in Repair Café, a volunteering programme organised by Po Leung Kuk, a leading social service organisation and fundraiser in Hong Kong.

The fun-filled community event saw the team’s participation for two consecutive years and was held at the Eastern Community Green Station, 30 Oi Shun Road, Shau Kei Wan.

A joint partnership with the Caring Company scheme, the initiative aims to create community cohesion and promote the culture of repair to reduce waste.

The event saw the local community gather to support the initiative by dropping in used or broken products for recycle or repair.

Commtech Asia’s team of eight successfully fixed a significant amount of electrical appliances including electric cookers, blender, fans, hair dryer and kettle over the course of three hours.
