In partnership with Childhope Philippines, Commtech Asia organised a Christmas party for 50 vulnerable children from various areas in Metro Manila.
Christmas is known to be a festive season where people would exchange gifts with one another and spend time with their loved ones. However, not everyone is fortunate to experience the joy and warmth that this holiday period brings. For children in the Philippines, some of them live in the streets with their families without proper access to basic needs such as education and healthcare.
In partnership with Childhope Philippines, a non-profit organization empowering the lives of street children and their families, Commtech Asia organised a Christmas party for 50 vulnerable children from various areas in Metro Manila.
The event was hosted at Jollibee, a renowned Filipino fast food restaurant, at the Shell Macapagal outlet. Beyond enjoying a hearty feast, the children also participated in a series of games and activities that got everyone involved, including the 22 Commtech Asia employees who were present.
Before the day ended, each child was presented with backpacks sponsored by Commtech Asia. The backpacks were filled with school supplies, supporting the youths with their educational needs.
