Introduction
Commtech Asia was appointed by a global technology giant to deliver full commissioning management services for two new purpose-built datacentres in Singapore.
The first datacentre is located in Jurong West and the initial phase of the facility came online in 2013. For this project, Commtech Asia provided commissioning management of the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and security services for the customer’s first Southeast Asia data centre, to hail its market entry into the region.

The project
At completion, the facility boasts cutting-edge technology — making it one of the most efficient and environmentally-friendly datacentres in Asia, utilising 100 per cent recycled water for maximised water conservation and other critical operations.
Our second project for the same customer, is currently on track to go online towards the end of 2019. Similarly, Commtech Asia is providing commissioning management for the mission-critical services across the new purpose-built facility. Built to the consistent high standards of its datacentre rollout around the world, Commtech Asia tested each custom-designed equipment to ensure it operates at optimal efficiency.
