The project

Commtech Asia was engaged to provide independent testing and commissioning (T&C) services on behalf of the institution, to review the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design, contractor submissions and the development of T&C strategies from the design stage through to the handover of the construction phase. The objective is to create a sustainable learning environment, that provides maximum comfort, energy efficiency and high-performance building services with modern functionality.

Qualified as an Independent Commissioning Authority (iCxA) under BEAM, Commtech Asia gave the institution much confidence of the T&C results and ensured that the sustainability and durability of the systems met the requirements.

Following the completion of the construction phase, Commtech Asia placed significant effort in reviewing all functional test procedures thoroughly, ensuring the results comply with the University’s standard without hindering the University’s operations.
