Drawing upon its enduring legacy and ambitions for the future, the new brand aims to respond to the evolving needs of its customers and markets, and to reflect the beliefs, personalities and passion of its people. The company announced its new business direction and a bold new vision statement: “To unlock the full potential of built environments, so people and businesses can realise theirs.”

In addition to the brand launch, the business announced other new developments, including its incorporation of new business entities in Taiwan and Vietnam – expanding its customer portfolio in new territories, and the launch of a new service division, Integrated Project Solutions.

The new service division is uniquely positioned to tackle the multitude of complexities involved in the design and construction of major developments, such as integrated resorts. Also acting in the role as an independent consultant, Commtech Asia introduces project and construction management for MEPF (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire) and ELV (extra low voltage), amongst other services as part of the newly integrated offer.

Founder and group managing director, Andy Knellar, commented: “We have come a long way in our 20-year history, and we are looking forward to what the future holds as we progress into the next chapter of the business. Our future strategy is to build on our solid footing in the datacentre market and across all our core sectors, while exploring growth opportunities in new sectors and territories. As we evolve as a business, we have set out to renew our brand to reflect the same momentum.”

Commtech Asia’s new brand proposition, “Forward thinking from every angle,” echoes its progress and innovation as a business, and reinforces its mission to proactively deliver smarter, better and more innovative solutions at every stage of the project journey. Expanding on this, Andy added, “We also want to work for forward-thinking companies, and we want forward-thinking people to work for us. Our proposition mirrors this intent and challenges our people with the same thinking in everything that we do,” he explained.

Concluding his statement, Andy said: “Commtech Asia is geared up to make our mark in new sectors and markets, and we have the appetite, passion and expertise to take us forward.”
